Softball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona lost to Byron on May 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks fell just short of the Bears by a score of 7-6.

Winona has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Byron, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Winona nor Byron have any future games scheduled.
