Baseball Recap: Powdersville Comes Up Short

Powdersville managed to slip by Wren the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots lost 15-1 to the Hurricanes on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

Powdersville's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Wren, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Powdersville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on J.L. Mann at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Wren, they will take on Greenville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
