Baseball Game Preview: Estill County Engineers vs. Lee County Bobcats + How To Watch

Estill County is a perfect 10-0 against Lee County since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Engineers will welcome the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

While Estill County's win against George Rogers Clark wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Engineers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Cardinals on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Engineers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Bryce Drake spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Logan Friend was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lee County took on Somerset Christian on Friday. The Bobcats won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 8-7.

Estill County's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Lee County, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Estill County got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against Lee County by a conclusive 15-2 score. Do the Engineers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
