Baseball Recap: Clayton Comets vs. Corinth Holders Pirates
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clayton's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corinth Holders Pirates on Tuesday. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Clayton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Buchanan, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double. Another was Jamison Lynch, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.
