After only two runs in their last game, Gila Ridge made sure to put some runs up on the board against McClintock on Tuesday. Gila Ridge blew past McClintock 15-2. Considering the Hawks have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Violet Silva was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Gila Ridge got a massive performance out of Tayler Reischmann, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Aimee Cisneros, who scored four runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
