Softball Recap: Goose Creek Memorial Takes a Loss

If Goose Creek Memorial was riding high fresh off their 16-10 takedown of North Shore on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Goose Creek Memorial Patriots lost 7-0 to the Summer Creek Bulldogs on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Goose Creek Memorial has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season. Summer Creek's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Coming up, Goose Creek Memorial will challenge Channelview at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for Summer Creek, they will face off against Humble at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th.
