Softball Recap: Brooklyn Falls to Columbia in First Game of Season

Brooklyn had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Columbia Raiders, falling 19-0. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The win (which was Columbia's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooklyn will head out to take on Open Door Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbia, they will venture away from home to face off against Black River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
