Basketball Recap: Foothills Community Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Great Falls Central Catholic

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foothills Community Christian). They blew past the Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs 54-30 on Tuesday. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Kelcie Fulbright was the offensive standout of the matchup as she posted 15 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Olson, who put up eight points.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-2. As for Great Falls Central Catholic, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foothills Community Christian will venture away from home to challenge Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Foothills Community Christian's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Great Falls Central Catholic, they will square off against Centerville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Great Falls Central Catholic is facing Centerville at the right time seeing as Centerville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
