Round Lake can bid farewell to their six-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alden-Hebron Green Giants, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Round Lake who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 15-25, 25-14.

Round Lake's victory bumped their record up to 2-22. As for Alden-Hebron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-23 record this season.

Round Lake will venture away from home to face off against North Chicago at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alden-Hebron, they will host South Beloit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
