Softball Recap: Romulus Comes Up Short

Romulus lost to Melvindale back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 18-1 to the Cardinals.

Romulus' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Melvindale, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Romulus will face off against Robichaud at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.5 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Melvindale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thurston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
