Softball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion suffered their biggest loss since March 3rd on Saturday. They lost 14-8 to the Russellville Cyclones. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Russellville, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Marion has already played their next game, a 9-5 defeat against John Carroll Catholic on the 29th. As for Russellville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Carlisle on the 29th.
