Volleyball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

Fenton lost against Glenbard East back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bison took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12.

Grady Vassar paced Fenton's offense, picking up five kills. Vassar got some help from Michael Wrona and his ten assists.

Fenton dropped their record down to 14-18 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Glenbard East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fenton will head out to square off against Elgin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bison are facing the Maroons at the right time seeing as the Maroons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Glenbard East, they will challenge West Aurora at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
