Volleyball Recap: George Ranch Gets the Win

George Ranch won the last time they faced Langham Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Longhorns came out on top against the Lobos by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

George Ranch got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 31-29, 20-25, 25-19.

Madelynn Coy paced George Ranch's offense, picking up 25 kills. Coy got some help from Ava Campbell and her 26 assists. Campbell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

George Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Langham Creek, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, George Ranch will square off against North Shore at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Langham Creek, they will take on Leander in a tournament on Thursday.
