Recap: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Redmond Mustangs
The Cedarcrest Red Wolves lost against the Redmond Mustangs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cedarcrest fell 61-48 to Redmond. Cedarcrest has not had much luck with Redmond recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Cedarcrest's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being audrey mattison, who scored 9 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Rogers, who scored 10 points.
Redmond got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie West out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Iha Kasam was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Cedarcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Redmond, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Cedarcrest is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on December 5th. As for Redmond, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bishop Blanchet at 7:15 p.m.
