Basketball Recap: Pierce Kleine's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Friday Harbor over Coupeville

Friday Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coupeville Wolves. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 56-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Friday Harbor lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Pierce Kleine, who went 9 of 22 on his way to 20 points. The matchup was Kleine's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Whiley McCutcheon, who posted ten points.
