Baseball Recap: Jackson Timberwolves vs. North Creek Jaguars
With a playoff win on the line, Jackson rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the North Creek Jaguars get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The Timberwolves have beaten the Jaguars the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Jaguars has come to flipping the script.
The result came thanks to Drew Pepin's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
