Baseball Recap: Copley Takes a Loss

Copley suffered their biggest defeat since April 12th on Friday. They came up short against the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees, falling 11-1. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Bees from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Copley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Farris, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Copley and nudges their season record down to 9-13. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Copley will challenge Revere at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they will square off against Stow-Munroe Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
