Basketball Recap: Alijah Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Heritage over Titusville

Heritage was the 62-28 winner over Titusville when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Heritage Panthers took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titusville Terriers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alijah Brown, who posted six points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was ORyan Woolstan, who earned eight points.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Titusville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-40 defeat against Harmony on the 24th. As for Titusville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-35 victory against Astronaut on the 24th.
