Basketball Recap: Rogers Heritage Takes a Loss

Rogers Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Rogers Mountaineers, falling 54-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the War Eagles have suffered against the Mountaineers since February 22, 2019.

Rogers Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Rogers, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.

Rogers Heritage and Rogers could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Rogers Heritage will square off against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday down 140 places (154 vs. 14). Meanwhile, Rogers (ranked 111th) will meet Har-Ber (ranked fourth) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
