Baseball Recap: Leto Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Leto took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Jefferson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Dragons a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since April 2, 2024.

Leto is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Coming up, Leto is taking a road trip to square off against Hillsborough at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Terriers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.64 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
