Softball Recap: Royal Palm Beach Takes a Loss

Royal Palm Beach dropped their record down to 5-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the American Heritage Stallions, falling 17-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 back in March.

As for American Heritage, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7. Considering they have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For American Heritage's part, Katheryn Costello was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Costello a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Christine Osborne, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

As of now, neither Royal Palm Beach nor American Heritage have any future games scheduled.
