Football Recap: Braintree Comes Up Short at Home Against Weymouth

Braintree unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Weymouth Wildcats on Friday, falling 42-0. The Wamps haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Looking ahead, Braintree will be playing at home against Quincy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weymouth, they are taking a road trip to square off against Whitman-Hanson Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
