Soccer Recap: Andover Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Andover's offense. They fell just short of the North Reading Hornets by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Andover's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-6-2. As for North Reading, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 11-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Andover will head out to square off against North Andover at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. North Andover's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Reading, they will venture away from home to take on Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
