Basketball Game Preview: Carver Panthers vs. South Atlanta Hornets + Official Tickets

Carver hasn't had much luck against South Atlanta recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will challenge the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Carver has given up an average of 61.2 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Carver made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lovett, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 75-72 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, South Atlanta didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Therrell on Friday, but they still walked away with a 53-47 win. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for South Atlanta, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Carver suffered a grim 67-42 defeat to South Atlanta in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Panthers were down 40-14.
