Volleyball Recap: Hockaday Takes a Loss

Hockaday was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the McKinney Boyd Broncos, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Daisies of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Hockaday lost, don't look at Siena Ebert. Despite the final result, she had 24 digs and two assists.

Hockaday's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for McKinney Boyd, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Hockaday will be playing at home against Liberty Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McKinney Boyd, they will challenge Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Broncos' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
