Volleyball Recap: Marymount's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marymount had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Marymount's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Olivia Penske led the charge by getting three digs and two aces. Khloe Wiggins also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Marymount's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Desert Oasis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18.

Marymount wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against 'Iolani on the 20th. As for Desert Oasis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against South on the 20th.
