Lorena has gone 8-2 against Connally recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lorena Leopards will head out to face off against the Connally Cadets at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Lorena after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Robinson who was credited with the win. Robinson got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Lorena's four.

Connally is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against China Spring, falling 4-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Cadets it sure didn't stay that way.

Connally's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Lorena, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

Lorena took their victory against Connally in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Will Lorena repeat their success, or does Connally have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
