Softball Preview: Coppell Cowboys vs. Lewisville Farmers
The Coppell Cowboys will head out on the road to challenge the Lewisville Farmers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coppell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Coppell took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over Little Elm.
Lily Bowen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. Bowen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Coppell let Courtney Hargrove and Riley Warren run wild. Hargrove scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Warren scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
