Oswego strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Jacobs Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jaelynn Anthony made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Oswego got a massive performance out of Natalie Muellner, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Aubriella Garza, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Oswego kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive matches.

Oswego pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Jacobs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oswego will take on Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Foxes have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Jacobs, they will challenge Crystal Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
