Softball Recap: Tupelo Drops Highest Score of Season Against West Union

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Germantown, Tupelo was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 victory over the West Union Eagles. The Golden Wave's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jazmine Quinn was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Tupelo's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for West Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Tupelo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Starkville on the 25th. As for West Union, they have also already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Bruce on the 24th.
