Softball Recap: Northmor Takes a Loss

If Northmor was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Loudonville on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Knights lost 7-1 to the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Knights in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost four in a row.

Northmor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katalina Roseberry, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Northmor's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Cardington-Lincoln, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

While Northmor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
