Basketball Recap: Clay City Victorious

Clay City proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 22) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas 56-54.

Clay City now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Indianapolis Metropolitan, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Clay City will finish 2024 at home by hosting Owen Valley at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Indianapolis Metropolitan and Mooresville will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Mooresville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Indianapolis Metropolitan surely won't give up without a fight.
