Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Milwaukee Riverside Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Purgolders of the 50-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Milwaukee Riverside, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington has already played their next match (against Milwaukee King), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Milwaukee Riverside has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Milwaukee Reagan.
