Soccer Recap: Rappahannock County Comes Up Short

Rappahannock County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 6-2 to the Stonewall Jackson Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Stonewall Jackson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in April.

Rappahannock County's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Stonewall Jackson, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-5-2 record.

Rappahannock County has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Luray on the 27th. As for Stonewall Jackson, they will be playing at home against Stuarts Draft at 6:00 p.m. on June 2.
