Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tom Bean). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-6 win over the Whitewright Tigers. The victory was just business as usual for the Tomcats, who after five games remain undefeated this season.
Donnie Hooten continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 421 yards and six touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 46 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Tom Bean's leading receiver Brayden Bomar was Hooten's top target yet again, picking up 107 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
