Softball Recap: Ontario Christian Comes Up Short

Linfield Christian hit Ontario Christian with a five-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights fell just short of the Lions by a score of 6-5. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Alyse Campos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Ontario Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Linfield Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

While Ontario Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
