Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

Pittsburg suffered their biggest loss since January 14th on Tuesday. They lost 49-29 to the Labette County Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-41 back in January.

Leading Labette County to victory were Landry Obrien and Amery Baker. Obrien posted 13 points and six steals, while Baker dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Obrien is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kinsley Boss was another key player, on her way to 11 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Pittsburg and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for Labette County, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Pittsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Labette County, they will welcome Field Kindley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Labette County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
