Basketball Game Preview: Brookings-Harbor Bruins vs. North Valley Knights

The Brookings-Harbor Bruins will take on the North Valley Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Brookings-Harbor came up short against Lakeview and fell 59-50. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Honkers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, North Valley entered their tilt with Rogue River on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Chieftains to the tune of 67-36. That looming 67-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

North Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-12. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Brookings-Harbor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Brookings-Harbor came up short against North Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 59-55. Can Brookings-Harbor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
