Softball Recap: Saranac Spartans vs. Peru Nighthawks
Saranac was forced to take a big defeat against they last Thursday, they got the better of them on Friday. They skirted past the Peru Nighthawks 9-8. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Nighthawks last Thursday, they had to take a 13-6 loss.
The team relied heavily on Elizabeth Recore, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
