Soccer Recap: Lompoc Takes a Loss

Lompoc was the 2-1 winner over Santa Ynez when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lompoc Braves fell just short of the Santa Ynez Pirates by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lompoc's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-3. As for Santa Ynez, their win bumped their record up to 4-9-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lompoc has already played their next contest (against Morro Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Santa Ynez will head out on the road to challenge Templeton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Templeton will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Santa Ynez surely won't give up without a fight.
