O'Dea came out on top against Ballard on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Fighting Irish walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Beavers. This was payback for the Fighting Irish, who suffered a 4-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games.
