Soccer Recap: Montour Takes a Loss

Montour lost against Ambridge back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bridgers. Montour have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Carter Furlan, which was the first he's scored this season.

Montour's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Ambridge, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Montour will square off against rival West Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ambridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Chartiers Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
