Soccer Recap: Campbell County Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sheridan, Campbell County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Thunderbirds a 1-0 shutout. Campbell County wouldn't have won without Santiago Beccera, who scored the game-winner.

Campbell County's lineup was just a bit different on Friday as Beccera got a bit more time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 57.5). Beccera made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Campbell County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season. As for East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.
