Volleyball Game Preview: Vintage Crushers vs. Maria Carrillo Pumas + How To Watch

The Vintage Crushers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Maria Carrillo Pumas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Vintage is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Wednesday, Vintage earned a 3-1 win over Vanden.

Vintage walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Maria Carrillo not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Casa Grande with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pumas haven't had any issues with the Gauchos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Maria Carrillo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Vintage, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything went Vintage's way against Maria Carrillo in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as Vintage made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crushers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
