Chicago Mt. Carmel lost against Providence Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Caravan fell just short of the Celtics by a score of 2-1. The Caravan's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Chicago Mt. Carmel sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-23.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Providence Catholic, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Mt. Carmel will venture away from home to face off against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Providence Catholic, they will head out to square off against Fenwick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
