Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newaygo). They put the hurt on the Chippewa Hills Warriors with a sharp 22-12 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Newaygo now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chippewa Hills, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newaygo is set to square off against their familiar foe Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chippewa Hills will challenge rival White Cloud at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
