Volleyball Recap: Aurora East Takes a Loss

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Rosary Royals. The Tomcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Levandoski, who had 19 assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 2-28. As for Rosary, the win snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 4-26 record.

Aurora East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Ridgewood on the 21st. As for Rosary, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Plainfield East on the 18th.
