Volleyball Game Preview: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Tri-Central Trojans

The Sheridan Blackhawks will face off against the Tri-Central Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sheridan will be strutting in after a win while Tri-Central will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Sheridan turned things around against North Montgomery on Wednesday. They blew past the Chargin' Chargers 3-0.

Sheridan never let North Montgomery on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Tri-Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They came up short against Tipton, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-12.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Tri-Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-23.

Everything went Sheridan's way against Tri-Central in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Sheridan made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Blackhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
