Westmoreland is a perfect 7-0 against West Point since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Pointers at 7:00 p.m. Westmoreland is looking for their season's first victory.

Westmoreland's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Handley on Saturday. They were beaten by the Judges 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Judges are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, West Point played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Northampton, falling 35-8. The Pointers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 22-0.

Westmoreland will need to focus on slowing down Aidan Ratcliffe, one of several West Point players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 64 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Westmoreland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Westmoreland strolled past West Point when the teams last played back in August of 2024 by a score of 39-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
