Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South East Jaguars. That's two games in a row now that the Rough Riders have lost by exactly two goals.

Ethan Nunez wasn't going to let South East walk away unscathed as he scored both of Roosevelt's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for South East, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on Leuzinger in a tournament on Thursday. As for South East, they are taking a road trip to take on Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South East is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.
